Buford High School Wolves LB Korie Rogers was listed as No. 5 on the GHSF Daily's Player of the Year Watch. Here’s what the Georgia High School Football Daily had to say about Korie:

5. LB Korie Rogers, Buford: Rogers had four tackles and caught a 19-yard pass in a 46-7 victory over Elbert County. Rogers, who is committed to Clemson, is the best player for a No. 1-ranked team that is defending its title in Class AAA. He was the AAA defensive player of the year in 2012.

Buford plays Gainesville away Sept. 6.
