Students Safe After School Bus Crashes With Car
The crash happened early Thursday morning at Buford Highway and Nelson Brogdon Boulevard.

BUFORD, GA — Everyone is safe after a school bus carrying students crashed into a car around 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Buford Highway and Nelson Brogdon Boulevard, the Gwinnett County Police Department told Patch.
It is unknown how many students were on the bus, but Gwinnett Police said the students were considered special needs. The school is arranging for the students to be assessed by medical staff though police said there were no visible injuries.
A car pulled out of a driveway and crashed into the school bus, which was traveling straight in its lane, police said. The bus was not able to avoid the car.

Nelson Brogdon was closed for about 20 minutes, police said.
It is unknown if there are any charges relating to the crash.
