19 Cherokee County Educators Named Apple Teachers
Apple Teachers are recognized for using technology such as Ipads and Macs to help create a more creative learning environment.
From CCSD: Nineteen more Cherokee County School District educators have been named Apple Teachers by the technology company!
Members of the CCSD Vanguard Team, an elite group of educators selected by CCSD’s Division of Technology, in addition to completing the District’s required training and then training other staff, recently successfully completed the Apple Teacher program’s requirements and testing.
Apple Teachers are recognized as experts in using the company’s technology, such as iPads and Macs, to enable teachers to connect with all learners and be more creative and productive with lessons and student activities.

The 19 educators join CCSD’s two previously certified Apple Teachers: Woodstock Elementary School teacher Kristen Brooks, who this spring received the higher distinction of Apple Distinguished Educator; and CCSD Network Analyst Carol Dickerson, who is an Apple Learning Specialist and facilitates CCSD’s Vanguard program.
