They will meet with Superintendent Woods throughout the school year, beginning with a virtual meeting next month, to talk about the impact of state policies in the classroom.

β€œNow more than ever, it is essential that I receive feedback directly from students on their educational experience,” Superintendent Woods said. β€œMy Student Advisory Council has been an invaluable part of my decision-making process for the last six years, and I am looking forward to meeting with the 2020-21 Council soon.”

β€œI’m grateful to them both for their willingness to represent their schools and our School District at the state level, and so proud of them for achieving this honor,” CCSD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower. β€œI plan on meeting with them soon to hear their feedback on how to improve our School District and know they will serve our community and our state well in their new role.
