1. The annual Adopt-A-Senior Program is running in Cherokee County, and there are plenty of ways for people to get involved. Cherokee County Senior Services is accepting donations for the program, which will help benefit senior citizens in the area. 4. Gas prices continue to decline nationally, falling 9.3 cents in the past week to an average of $3.77 per gallon, according to a GasBuddy survey.
