  1. Law enforcement officials are asking the public to help them find three people accused of firing a BB gun at shoppers last week. On Nov. 7, three suspects arrived in the parking lot of Kroger on Hickory Flat Highway. The individuals proceeded to shoot at shoppers as they fled the parking lot. The incident resulted in multiple injuries and property damage. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. Atlanta Magazine has released its annual list of 'The Best of Atlanta,' and a local Canton hangout has made the list. The Mill on Etowah is already famous around town for its bevy of beers, and the magazine is hailing the locale as an ideal spot to relax and hang out with friends. The delicious food options and big-screen TVs make this a great way to unwind after a long day at work. It's easy to see why this spot earned the title of 'Best New Community Hangout.'(Atlanta Magazine)
  3. Calling all prospective pet parents: the Cherokee Humane Society has plenty of adorable, adoptable cats and dogs awaiting their forever homes. You can browse the shelter's residents and filter by breed, age, gender, and size.   4. The Cherokee Family Violence Center got to participate in the Hope For Christmas Event at Revolution Church. Volunteers showed up to hand out books to the children at the event. There was also an enormous toy pickup from BridgePointe Church. The event was hailed a resounding success, and a great way to support the community this holiday season.   5. Cherokee County drivers may soon get to enjoy smoother roads. As part of the 2023 Georgia Department of Transportation Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant, Cherokee County has submitted a proposal to resurface and improve over 13 miles of roadway.
