All three now advance to the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando in April. The Creekview DECA chapter is sponsored by Career Pathway - Marketing and Management teacher Ashley Jones.

“Career education is an important part of our high school program, and DECA is an outstanding example of the extra-curricular opportunities we offer along with career classes,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower said. “Career clubs offer students the chance to further their learning, network and compete, and we’re so proud of these three students and their success at the statewide competition. We’re also grateful to our dedicated career teachers like Ms. Jones, and the business partners that support career education. Best wishes as you represent your school and CCSD at internationals!”

They will be recognized by the Cherokee County School Board and Dr. Hightower at a School Board meeting later this spring.
