Cherokee Animal Shelter Offers 'Black Saturday' Adoption Special
On Saturday, any all black, black speckled, black striped, black spotted dog, puppy, cat or kitten will be free to adopt in Cherokee County.
CANTON, GA — After shopping, families looking to add a new furry addition to their home can snag another deal at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.
The animal shelter will be closed Black Friday, bu will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday for a "Black Saturday" sale on pets.
Any available all black, black speckled, black striped, black spotted dog, puppy, cat or kitten will be free to adopt.

Adoptions include:
- Initial vaccinations
- Spay/neuter
- Microchip
- Dewormed
- Flea/tick treatment
- Heartworm or FELV/FIV testing
- Free sample bag of food and other services
The shelter is first come, first served and cannot put animals on hold. Plan accordingly and be sure to arrive early.

Go online to view available pets. The shelter will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and is located at 1015 Univeter Road in Canton.
