Cherokee Charter Academy Students Bring Home High Honors
Cherokee Charter Academy students participated in 4H Junior Project Achievement bringing home high honors.
Cherokee Charter Academy students participated in 4H Junior Project Achievement bringing home high honors. Junior/Senior Project Achievement is a yearly event for 7th-12th grade 4H’ers. Students competing in this competition choose a topic of interest, research the topic, and write and present a 10-12 minute presentation. These students work all year on this presentation to compete at this district event developing skills such as leadership, creativity, public speaking, and record keeping that will empower them for a lifetime!
Cherokee Charter Academy is very proud of the following outstanding 8th graders who excelled in this competition. Dana Ledbetter, a 3rd year participant in this competition, took 2nd place in the Individual Sports category with a concentration in Swim. Lizzie Ogloblin, in her debut appearance, placed 3rd in the International Studies category. Her concentration was on Russia. Nathaniel Amakelew, a 2nd year participant, placed 3rd in the Team Sports category concentrating on Volleyball. Kristen Houser placed 2nd in the Arts category. Her concentration was in Character Design. Cherokee Charter Academy is extremely proud of these students and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
