Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services Host Open House For New Fire Station
The community is invited to celebrate the new opening of Fire Station #3 located in the Hickory Flat Community on May 20.
From Cherokee Co. Fire Dept.: Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services will host an Open House for the new Fire Station #3, located at 290 Crown Avenue, in the Hickory Flat community. The event will be held on Saturday, May 20th, between 10AM and 2 PM.
According to Cherokee County Fire Chief, Tim Prather, “We had the official grand opening at this station back in January. However, we wanted to do an open house for the residents and their families, who could not attend the grand opening, to come out and tour this wonderful new facility.”
The event will feature snacks, hotdogs, Fire Safety House, fire engines and much more. The public is invited to attend!
