Crash Kills Motorcyclist In Cherokee
A driver was traveling around a curve when his motorcycle crashed in Cherokee County, authorities say.
BALL GROUND, GA — A motorcyclist who lost control while traveling around a curve in Ball Ground has died, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
The fatal crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday in the area of Upper Bethany and Land roads, authorities said.
The motorcycle driver, who authorities identified as 40-year-old Canton resident Joshua Ivy, was taken to Northside Cherokee Hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said. He later died of his injuries, authorities said.
