'Dumpster Days' Start Aug. 6 in Canton
The citywide cleanup effort will allow residents to clear out clutter and debris from their homes.
CANTON, GA -- If you have random bits of trash and debris lying around your property, then you may want to take advantage of Waste Management's upcoming Dumpster Days.
The series of events will be open to city of Canton residents, who are all encouraged to take part in "organizing or participating in a community cleanup in their neighborhoods, the city notes on its flier.
Volunteers can participate in area litter pickups or simply utilize the free Waste Management dumpster to remove clutter and debris from their yards or other areas around their home.

The schedule for Dumpster Days is as follows:
- Saturday, Aug. 6 — Dumpster will be placed at Canton Village Shopping center located at 241 Marietta Road
- Saturday, Aug. 13 — Dumpster will be placed at the gravel lot on Juniper Street next to Canton Paw Park.
- Saturday, Sept. 3 — TBA
- Saturday, Sept. 10 — TBA
- Saturday, Oct. 1 — TBA
- Saturday, Oct. 8 — TBA
- Saturday, Nov. 5 — TBA
Please note residents are barred from dropping off fuel tanks, motor oil, fuel drums, household hazardous waste, antifreeze, paint thinners, pesticides, pool chemicals or commercial waste.
