  1. The trial of a former Lyndon Academy teacher begins today in Cherokee County. He sexually assaulted a student at Fulton Academy of Science and Technology in 2020 and was arrested in 2021. The man pleaded guilty to rape, aggravated child molestation, false imprisonment, and two counts of child molestation for his case in Fulton County. (WSB-TV)
  2. The City of Canton was selected to participate in the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing. The three-year program would help communities create and implement a specific plan to meet housing needs. (City of Canton)
