1. Georgia has been slammed with rain over the past few days, particularly in northern Georgia. The extreme weather has resulted in property damage and localized flooding. 4. The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce has announced the first meeting of 2023 for the Business After Hours Series. The meeting will take place on Jan. 1o from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will be presented by AT&T Georgia.
