- Gasoline prices in Georgia continued to drop this week. On average, gasoline prices across the state dropped by eight cents per gallon. Nationally, the average price of gas has dropped by 14 cents. Georgia drivers are paying an average of $2.88 for regular unleaded throughout the state. (Cobb County Courier)
- Last Thursday, the Cherokee County School District celebrated its support staff. These hard workers were honored at the Fifth Annual Support Staff Employees of the Year Award. Each school in Cherokee County saw one Support Staff Employee awarded the coveted title. Each honoree received a plaque and numerous gifts, including a $50 Amazon gift card and a $200 Visa card.
