- A Fulton County special grand jury created to investigate whether or not Donald Trump committed crimes during his efforts to reverse the results of the 2020 Presidential Election in Georgia has been concluded. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney issued an order on Monday to dissolve the special grand jury once it completed its final report. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will decide whether or not to seek an indictment from a regular grand jury. There will also be a vote to determine whether the reports will be made public. - North Etowah Drive was shut down for several hours on Monday. A tractor-trailer blocked the roadway just south of the street, causing some traffic throughout the area. Drivers were advised to use Shoal Creek Road as an alternate route until the tractor-trailer could be cleared. Traffic was able to resume as normal, with only minor delays and congestion. - The Whiskey Rose Band is ready to rock! The popular band will be live at the Canton Icehouse on Jan. 14 at 9:00 p.m. This is going to be their only local show until March 2023. There will be a $10 door cover. (AllEvents)
- The YMCA of Cherokee County has announced the return of its monthly food distribution. The distribution runs every Tuesday starting at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome! (YMCA of Cherokee County via Facebook)
