HBO Show Needs Teenage Extras While Filming In Canton

CANTON, GA -- If your teenage son has ever wanted to be part of an HBO show, now is their chance.

The HBO limited series, "The Outsiders," is filming in Canton March 18-19 and needs male talent for background roles, according to Backstage. The series is based on the Stephen King novel and stars Ben Mendelsohn, and is directed by Jason Bateman. The show follows a group of investigators confounded by an unspeakable crime, Backstage said.

The production is casting 11-13-year-old males to play members of a baseball team. All ethnicities are needed and a head shot is required to apply. Extras will be paid $120 for the 8-hour shoot.
