CANTON, GA — Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency is warning drivers that the I-575 Northbound on-ramp from Hickory Flat Highway is currently shut down. There is an overturned, fully-loaded trash hauler blocking the ramp.

Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency said they are working diligently to remove the truck and re-open the roadway. Seek an alternate route until further notice.

Clean up is estimated to take a half day, the agency said.
