Here are some recent food service inspections conducted by the Cherokee County Environmental Health Department:

- Keep microwave clean. Keep soda gun and holster at bar clean.
- Must date mark all potentially hazardous foods and use within 7 days or by the date on the package, whichever comes first.
- Lunch meat in flip top cooler with expiration date of August 2018. Discarded.
- Do not store lettuce in direct contact with cooler shelving.
- Do not store ice scoop with handle in direct contact with ice at bar.
- Invert/cover single service articles. Store toothpicks properly.
- Repair gaskets on cooler doors. Clean gaskets.
- All equipment needs cleaning.
- Women's restroom door must be self-closing.
- Floors/walls/ceiling in kitchen and bar area in need of cleaning. Lots of grease and buildup. Several ceiling tiles in need of replacement. Wall in need of repair in several areas.

- Several pans of mac and cheese (cooked) in walk-in cooler at temperature of 46°F. Pans of mac and cheese that were cooked on previous day were discarded on request. Technician was called for unit which was at a consistent ambient temperature of 45-46°F. technician to arrive within the hour.
- Drawer unit under grill not maintaining foods at 41°F -- tomatoes at 48°F were discarded.
- Drawers are not closing properly and some gaskets are missing. Adjust temperature on unit and replace gaskets.
- Glass door salad unit in pit/waitress area not holding foods at 41°F -- slaw at 48°F and salads at 48°F. Adjust temperature on unit. Salads and slaw relocated to working unit.
