- A Canton jewelry store has been robbed by thieves who cut a hole in the roof. According to the Canton Police Department, the robbery took place at the Kay Jewelers store on Cumming Highway. Just after 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 4, police were called to the scene. Seeing none of the windows broken and no signs of forced entry, the officers departed — while the thieves continued breaking in through the roof. The amount of jewelry stolen by the thieves remains unknown. (WSB Atlanta)
