The goal is to generate input on forming a community-driven cleanup initiative to help keep Cherokee County beautiful.
CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA β Cherokee County will host a second public interest meeting on Oct. 27 to generate input on forming a community-driven cleanup initiative to help keep Cherokee County beautiful. During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate on ideas with key stakeholders of the program.
The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Hickory Flat Fire Station community room, which is located at 7675 Vaughn Rd in Canton.
"We received lots of feedback and interest from the community at our first meeting in June,β said Cherokee County District 3 Commissioner Benny Carter. βLike many of you, I am interested in protecting and improving our environment. I hope that the information received from this second meeting will help us narrow down some of the issues and develop a community-driven and county-wide plan to keep Cherokee clean, green and beautiful."
