Netflix Movie Wraps Up Filming At Cherokee County Jail
"Sextuplets" stars Marlon Wayans, who will play all six main characters in the movie slated to be released in 2019.

CANTON, GA — The Cherokee County Adult Detention Center was the site of filming this week for a new Netflix film starring comedian Marlon Wayans.
A production company spent Thursday and Friday filming at the Adult Detention Center on Chattin Drive in Canton, said Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jay Baker. Filming was conducted outside and behind the jail, and "did not impact the day to day operations of the facility," he added.
The production company is working on "Sextuplets," which stars Wayans who will portray all six characters in the film. Wayans stars as the main character who was adopted and recently finds out he has five brothers and sisters, all of whom he portrays in the film. Wayans initially meets his birth mother and when he later meets his brother, he learns he and his siblings are sextuplets, according to Deadline.

The two men take a road trip in an effort to meet the rest of their siblings. One of the trips involves him meeting a sister who is in prison, which is why the Cherokee County jail was the site of the filming, Baker said.
Entertainment Weekly notes the film is slated to debut sometime in 2019.
