New Ball Ground Fire Station Open House Scheduled

The event will feature hot dogs, jump houses, Fire Safety House, games and more.

From Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services: Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services and the City of Ball Ground will co-host an Open House for the new Fire Station #2, located at 420 Valley Street, in Ball Ground, Georgia. The event will be held on Saturday, April 29th, between 10AM and 2 PM.

According to Cherokee County Fire Chief, Tim Prather, “We had the official grand opening on this station on January 3rd. However, we wanted to do an open house for the residents and their families who could not attend the grand opening to come out and tour this wonderful new facility.”

The event will feature snacks, hotdogs, jump houses, Fire Safety House, games and much more. According to Ball Ground, City Manager, Eric Wilmarth “This is a great opportunity to get a family tour of the inside of the building and a good time for the kids to interact with our firefighters and their equipment.”
