The real estate market in Holly Springs/Sixes/Canton areas are holding up well. Although the number of active listings has risen, it is still far lower than the healthy sales years of 2017-2020. 1. Early Thursday morning, police were called to a scene involving a vehicle fire. Cherokee County Fire arrived at Ball Ground Road to find a white Chevrolet sedan aflame directly outside of a residence. Firefighters responded quickly and were able to put out the flames. 2. A Cherokee County singer has made it to the top 13 on NBC's singing competition "The Voice."
