  3. The Service League has set the date for its 5th annual Golfing Fore the Children golf tournament! On Friday, Jun. 16, golfers can come out to the Fairways of Canton to tee up for a good cause — all proceeds go toward the Service League's work to help children across Cherokee County. Pricing is $130 per single golfer (or $500 for a group of four) and includes one round of golf, cart rental, breakfast and lunch, goodie bags, and a raffle ticket. (Service League)
  4. In case you missed it: last Tuesday, Jan. 24, Georgia state legislators announced a new bill with a goal of expanding reproductive rights in the state.
