  1. Cherokee County has had two fatal car accidents in as many days. On Jan. 18, 22-year-old Clair Bryant was killed in a collision on Highway 9 near Country Road 80. On Jan. 19, two people were killed and two others injured on County Road 175. The second crash remains under investigation. Authorities are encouraging people to exercise caution when driving in and around Cherokee County. (WEIS Radio)
  2. Georgia authorities are seeking help from the public in locating a missing mother and son. Hope Allison, 40, and her son, 11-year-old Aaron Neal, were last seen in Cherokee County on Jan. 9. The mother and son duo may also be in nearby Marietta or Acworth. If you see them or have any information on their whereabouts, please contact the police. (WJCL)
  3. Good Morning Cherokee will be hosting its February 2023 Good Morning Cherokee Breakfast. On Feb. 2 at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Conference Center, people will have the chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, guest speakers covering the ins and outs of Canton, and a networking event. Actors from around nearby Marietta have the rare opportunity to be part of a prehistoric event! “Jurassic World Live” is coming to Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, and they’re holding auditions in Marietta on Jan. 31!
