- Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card! The Sequoyah Regional Library System has plenty of events for the whole family to enjoy. Head over to Ball Ground Public Library for Adult Book Club on Oct. 22, or enjoy Make Your Own Halloween Costume Accessory at R.T. Jones Memorial Library on Oct. 27. - The City Council of Holly Springs has approved a new growth boundary agreement with Cherokee County. This new boundary agreement will help define and limit the future boundaries of the city and will be in effect until June 2028. - Sub-zero temperatures continue to plague the Canton-Sixes area and the rest of Cherokee County. Another freeze warning was issued on Thursday morning, with windchill making it feel even colder.
