Wing & Rock Fest On March 23-24 In Canton

The two-day festival, which is free to attend, will be held at Etowah River Park.

CANTON, GA — Chicken wing lovers in and around Canton will want to keep their calendars clear during the last weekend in March, so they can have plenty of time to check out the annual Wing & Rock Fest.

This two-day celebration of these bite-sized treats will be held March 23-24 at Etowah River Park in Canton. Along with chicken wings from more than 20 restaurants and food trucks served up in bold sauces, attendees will be able to enjoy music, a vendor market, a wing-eating contest and a kid's zone.

You can expect to savor favorites from eateries such as Taco Mac & Buffalo Wild Wings, which will be selling more than 60 types of flavors of wings that are grilled, fried or smoked. While you chow down with your friends and neighbors, you'll be treated the sounds of tribute bands playing hits from artists such as Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters and Nirvana. The East Cobb School of Rock bands will also make an appearance.

Wing vendors will also showcase their talents in competitions throughout the festival. Additionally, residents can enter the city of Canton's wing eating contest for a chance to win some prizes. Chicken wings and other food items will be available for purchase at each participating food vendors, so you will have variety of items for the entire family.
