All Lanes Open After Crash Jams I-75
Cartersville police say two air ambulances were called to the scene.

Several vehicles were involved in a major crash on Interstate 75 just north of exit 288 in the southbound lanes around 7 a.m. Thursday. All lanes were reopened by 8:40 a.m.
Capt. Frank Cline said two Life Flight crews were called to the scene and the road was closed for some time.
Cline added that it's too early to tell whether ice played a factor.

Reports indicate traffic was backed up 5 miles around 8 a.m.
The Daily Tribune News reports a child was transported to an Atlanta children's hospital as a result of the four-vehicle crash on a bridge.
