A group of local teens serving on this year's Youth Summit team, commissioned by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, has teamed with BackPack Buddies, a Bartow Schools and Cartersville Schools program that sends food home with needy students for the weekends.
The team coordinated a food drive at the See you At the Pole Rally, set for Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Liberty Square Church.
Caleb Gridley, Cati Williams, Thomas Gilbert and Lindsey Craven comprise the team.
