Bartow County Primary Election Results 2022: Unofficial Results

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Election Day is over in Cartersville and Bartow County, and voters have cast their ballots in the 2022 primary election.

Among the winners are Republican Darla Branton Williams, school board district 2; and Republican Matt Shultz, school board district 3; and Republican Ed Setzler, Georgia Senate District 37.

The ballot also included statewide elections for governor, secretary of state, attorney general, agriculture commissioner, insurance commissioner, state school superintendent and labor commissioner.

District 1 100% precincts reporting

• Tony Ross, Republican, incumbent — 2,328 votes, 100%

District 2 100% of precincts reporting

• Darnell Jackson Jr., Republican — 762 votes, 34.87%
• Darla Branton Williams, Republican — 1,423 votes, 65.13%

District 3 100% of precincts reporting

• Brad Gilmore, Republican — 718 votes, 34.67%
• Nickie Leighly, Republican — 303 votes, 14.63%
• Matt Shultz, Republican — 1,050 votes, 50.7%

Georgia State Senate

District 37 100% of precincts reporting

• Titus Nichols, Democrat — 50 votes, 30.3%
• Vanessa Parker, Democrat — 115 votes, 69.7%
• David Delk, Republican — 275 votes, 19.06%
• Scott Johnson, Republican — 342 votes, 23.7%
• Ed Setzler, Republican — 826 votes, 57.24%

District 52 100% of precincts reporting

• Chuck Hufstetler, Republican — 6,609 votes, 47.6%
• Derek Keeney, Republican — 2,740 votes, 19.73%
• Jeff Lewis, Republican — 4,536 votes, 32.67%

City of White special election for mayor (nonpartisan) 100% precincts reporting

• Perry Alexander Bell — 53 votes, 41.09%
• Eddie Billue — 40 votes, 31.01%
• Curtis Powell — 36 votes, 27.91%
