Council to Welcome voestalpine, Eye Fee Changes
Cartersville leaders meet tonight at 6 for a work session and 7 for regular business.

In addition to contracts, purchases and a board appointment, Cartersville's city council is expected tonight to officially welcome voestalpine, an in industrial park Highland 75, the city's joint venture with Bartow County.

- An amendment to the Utilities Ordinance would clarify capacity fees for hotels and extended-stay apartments.
- An amendment to the Alcohol Ordinance would allow businesses holding pouring licenses to pay a $100 transfer fee with changes in management. Currently, businesses pay the full pouring license fees when changing managers.
