AIDS Walk Cartersville

The AIDS Alliance of Northwest Georgia is excited to host the fourth annual walk/run, and invites everyone to Paint the Town Red for AIDS Education! Walkers and runners of all ages are welcome to participate in the event that will include food, prizes and entertainment.  

All proceeds will benefit AIDS education and outreach programs.

Sign in for the 2.1-mile walk around downtown Cartersville will begin at 10 a.m., opening ceremonies begin at 10:45 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m.

The cost to register is $20. T-shirts will be available for all pre-registered participants.

The AIDS Alliance of Northwest Georgia is a non-profit community based organization founded in 1992. The AIDS Alliance offers support to persons living with HIV/AIDS through assistance with physical, emotional, practical and spiritual needs through direct services and by referral to appropriate services. Prevention services are provided, including free HIV testing and educational classes.

The AIDS Alliance is primarily made up of part-time staff members and volunteers, and draws from compassionate providers throughout the community who donate their time and talents to provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS.
