The day-long Civil War Comes Alive! is meant to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the Civil War. Â
Activities will be held at the Bartow History Museum, Booth Western Art Museum and on the Booth's festival grounds. Â
Visitors will be able to experience what life was like on the home front, listen to authentic music, chat with soldiers from the Union and Confederate armies, view Civil War art and artifacts, watch cannon demonstrations and much more. Â Â

- 10:30 to 11 a.m.—Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address          Â
- 11 a.m. to noon—Concert by the 8th Regiment Band
- 12 to 12:30 p.m.—Soldier's life demonstration
- 12:30 to 1 p.m.—Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address
- 1 to 2 p.m.—Concert by the 8th Regiment Band
-  2 to 2:30 p.m.—"The Rest of the Story: Letters Written by Members of the U.S. Colored Troops"       Â
