Prospective Democratic Congressional candidate Jeff Anderson of Acworth will address the Cobb County Democratic Party at its monthly event at 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, at Picadilly Cafeteria Restaurant in Marietta.
Anderson, a U.S. Navy veteran, father of seven and commercial airline pilot, will discuss the launch of his run against incumbent Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey in the new 11th Congressional District, comprised of Bartow and Cherokee counties and parts of Cobb and Fulton. He will offer a unique, two-prong presentation, outlining his platform agenda as well as his driving view of contemporary politics
and ideas for restoring effective government.
