West Ridge Church is sponsoring for the fifth year Cartersville's Egg Drop, an Easter egg hunt with a twist. The first egg drop will begin at 11 a.m., but registration at the park begins at 10 a.m.
"It's like an Easter egg hunt, only much cooler. In addition to tons of eggs on the field, we'll drop thousands of eggs from a helicopter. Your kids will have a blast collecting eggs that can be redeemed for tons of candy," West Ridge Church Children's Director Rebekah Warren said on the website. "We have separate drops for each age group as well. Ages 2 to 4, ages 5 to 7, ages 7 to 9 and ages 10 to 12 each have their own drop."
This event opens at 10:00 a.m. and will also include music, inflatables, food vendors, craft vendors and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny.
