David Tilley is set to deliver a crash course on solar energy and energy in general.
He will then talk about how nature first solved the energy problem (photosynthesis), followed by current manmade attempts to mimic the natural design (photovoltaics and water-splitting).
The museum galleries will remain open until 9 p.m. Members admitted free; non-members free with the cost of museum admission. Schedule is subject to change.
