Lecture on Bartow County Homes and Craftsmen

Bartow History Museum welcomes guest speaker, Maryellen Higginbotham, adjunct professor of Historic Interiors at Georgia State University and former curator of the Root House & Garden in Marietta.

She will discuss her latest research on early Bartow County homes and the craftsmen who were associated with them.  This research is based on various antebellum homes of Bartow County including Valley View and Walnut Grove, as well as the 1840 to 1860 county censuses. 

The lecture is free to members and included with the price of admission for not-yet members.
