Richard Hensley, retired educator and storyteller, will present Bartow History Museum's one-hour lunch and learn, Stories of the Civil War: "Faith, Hope, Love and Friendship."
A 14-year member of the Cleveland Storytelling Guild, Hensley enjoys telling stories from Appalachian tales to the Civil War.
His presentation includes “A Civil War Wedding,” “Love at First Site,” “The Fighting Bishop,” "The Secret Room” and “The Angel of Marye’s Heights.”

All of the stories have a link to the Battle of Chickamauga and two of them happened within just a few miles of Cartersville.
The lecture is free to members and included with the price of admission for not-yet members. Guests are invited to bring a lunch beginning at 11:45 a.m. and the program will begin at noon.
