Plan to eat a lot of turkey this Thanksgiving? Get some exercise in advance by enjoying the Turkey Trot 5K at the Cartersville Soccer Complex on Saturday, Nov. 19.
The event takes place along the beautiful Etowah River Walk and gets underway at 9 a.m. Participants may pick up their numbers and T-shirts beginning at 8 a.m.
Winners in 16 age groups will receive a frozen turkey. All proceeds benefit United Way of Bartow County. Click for more info.
