New Charges Against Cartersville Man For 2nd Shooting: Canton PD
A Cartersville man already in jail after authorities say he shot at a Canton home is now believed to have put two bullet holes in an SUV.

CANTON, GA — A Cartersville man already in jail for shooting at a Cherokee County residence on May 10 was charged Thursday in connection with another shooting — this time at a parked government SUV — two days later.
According to a news release from the Canton Police Department, Timothy Gregory, 29, is believed to have put two holes in a Chevy Tahoe registered to the Georgia Department of Community Supervision at about 6 a.m. on May 12. The SUV was parked at the time at the department’s Canton headquarters on Medical Drive.
Gregory now faces additional charges of aggravated assault, interference with government property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. All charges are felonies.

Gregory was arrested on May 13 on similar charges in connection with shots he is believed to have fired at a home on Carmichael Circle three days earlier. He remains in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center without bond.
