1. Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow and predicts we’re in for an early spring, but get your umbrellas out because we’re not there yet. The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of rain today with a high of 44. The chance for wet stuff increases to 80 percent tonight when a low of 34 is expected.
We’ll likely be more than ready for spring by Sunday, which is forecasted to be the next sunny day.
2. Bartow County Schools announced Wednesday students will make up five of six snow days in two ways — in session during Winter Break and a March teacher work day and with extended instructional hours. See the details .
