Scammers Used Fake Movie Money at Walmart: Police

Police are looking for a pair of scam artists who used fake money from a movie to make a large purchase at a Georgia Walmart. The incident happened at the Walmart at 3250 Sardis Church Road in Buford, according to Gwinnett County Police.

The pair used the money, which is marked with the words "For Motion Picture Use Only," between 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, to buy $1,000 worth of lawn equipment, police say.

A Kennesaw man will spend 15 years in prison after a road-rage assault. Shortly after noon on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, James Matthew Colomb was driving his Mercedes on Barrett Parkway near Chastain Meadows, in the Town Center area, when another driver inadvertently cut him off in traffic.

He followed the other car and confronted the driver as he was entering an America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses with his wife and three kids, eventually pulling a gun and threatening the victim by saying he'd, “wipe the smile off his face.” >>> Read more.
