A New Movie Documents the Rise and Fall of the Black Mafia Family (BMF) in Atlanta

In 15 years, the Black Mafia Family, or BMF as they were called, made nearly $300 million trafficking cocaine from Atlanta throughout the United States. Many in SW Atlanta knew of BMF during their highlight, because members of the criminal organization often threw lavish parties, drove lavish cars, and trafficked drugs through our communities.

“BMF: The Rise and Fall of a Hip Hop Drug Empire” is an 80-minute documentary that explores the story of the 15-year investigation by the DEA, FBI and an elite drug task force called HIDTA that resulted in 41 defendants across the country being charged in one of the largest drug conspiracy cases ever.

A portion of the proceeds from this event benefits The Seton Foundation for Learning, a not-for-profit agency, established 25 years ago to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children and their families.

This will be the Red Carpet Premiere of “BMF: Rise and Fall of a Hip Hop Drug Empire”, at The Auditorium of Georgia-Pacific Tower, 133 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303 on December 28th.
