A Public Viewing at Murray Brothers Funeral Home for Chris Kelly of Kris Kross

Hundreds of community members and extended family members came to Murray Brothers Funeral Home off of Cascade Road to view the body Chris Kelly, formerly of Kris Kross. The viewing should continue until 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

As family members gathered around the elders and cried and laughed together, hundreds of fans and community members streamed thru the funeral home to get a last glimpse of the 34 year-old rapper who was once one of the biggest music stars in the world.

Messages of "Rest in Peace" and "Keep Jumpin' in Heaven" were written on a photo of Chris that all guest must pass by.  Some of the many musical hits Chris had as a member of Kris Kross played in the background, as guest slowly walked to greet his coffin.  Chris himself, looked at peace.  He looked regal as ever, still with that signature babyface and dressed to impress.

Chris Kelly passes away at his home on May 1st.  Friends and family have said that he had an extensive history with drugs. 

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church on Fairburn Road.
