Justine Boyd, , will be joining Komen Atlanta as the new executive director, effective August 27.
Justine has many years of experience empowering Metro Atlanta women and has been a long-time Cascade resident.

Justineβs new role at Komen Atlanta is to be their Executive Director and to help the organization continue being the largest local resource for women in need of breast cancer screening, treatment and support.
The Komen Atlanta board and staff are eager to implement Justineβs ideas in regards to continuing to bridge the healthcare disparities gap in Metro Atlanta and look forward to her lending her management and fundraising expertise to the organization.

βWe are excited to welcome this outstanding professional to the Komen Atlanta staff,β said Karen Bragman, Komen Atlanta board president. βShe is a very active member in our community and her experience with healthcare disparities and social justice for women will be fundamental to helping our organization fill breast healthcare gaps in the Metro Atlanta area.β
Boydβs previous professional roles include assistant general manager of external affairs at the Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) and county clerk at the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.Β
Komen Atlanta is the largest funding organization of breast cancer support in Georgia and strives to bridge the gap between healthcare disparities in the community.
