Attention Teachers: Kroger Gives Teachers Free School Supplies Thursday at Civic Center

Atlanta-area teachers are invited to receive up to $40 in free classroom supplies, Thursday, July 25th from 11 a.m. - 4p.m. at the Atlanta Civic Center.

Kroger’s Atlanta Division is showing support for Atlanta-area teachers by giving away classroom supplies valued at more than $66,000 as part of the grocer’s 2013-2014 β€œEarning Plus Learning” program.

Through this event, educators with a valid Georgia teacher ID can receive up to $40 in free school supplies. Β 

Teachers will receive items on a first-come, first-served basis at two Atlanta-area locations while supplies last.

β€œKroger is committed to ensuring that our teachers have the tools they need to successfully educate our children,” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. β€œWe hope that through this event we can help assist teachers as they prepare for the upcoming school year.”
