Bobby Brown and FunkFest Atlanta heat up Wolf Creek Amphitheatre

Bobby Brown was back in Atlanta just like the old days when him and his former wife, Whitney Houston made their home here.  On this occasion Bobby was back with New Edition as part of the star-studded FunkFest line-up.

FunkFest is a two-day outdoor festival celebrating old school funk, R&B, rap and soul at ! Friday’s line-up featured all six-members of New Edition, SWV and Doug E. Fresh. On Saturday, concert-goers will hear the sounds of Erykah Badu, Raheem DeVaughn, Loose Ends, Special Ed, and El DeBarge!

Bobby Brown homecoming was celebrated with cheers and a packed house.  For many of us this was the first time seeing Bobby since the death of Whitney Houston, and he did not disappoint.  He and New Edition sung many of the old hits and of course Bobby played up his bad boy image while making the ladies scream.

On Saturday, the gates will open at 3 p.m. and the show will begin at 5 p.m.
