Booker Washington Community Neighborhood Watch Alert: 3rd Attempted Car Theft
One man thinks the suspects tried to rob his car 3 times in one week.

Cascade Patch has just learned about a 3rd auto theft attempt in the Booker T. Washington community. The information comes directly from a member of the Booker T. Washington Community Association and Neighborhood Watch Program, who believes the same suspects attempted to steal one of his family cars on 3 different occasions in the span of 1 week. Read the following details:
"On Saturday, October 19, 2013, around 10:30 pm, I was going out my house to my car to lock my steering wheel and saw a gang of about 7 young black males standing in front of my house and leaving my driveway. Β They were attempting to steal my Dodge Neon car. Β I called 911. Β APD Zone 1 officers responded immediately while I was talking to the 911 operator.. Β I appreciate the APD Zone 1 response. The driver's door lock & ignition are damaged."
Descriptions: Β 7 Black males, 15 - 25 years old
Suspect 1. Β 5'7", light brown complexion, wearing an orange long sleeve sweatshirt
Suspect 2. Β 5'7", light brown complexion, wearing a white long sleeve t-shirt
Other suspects: Β 5'5"- 5'7", Medium brown and dark brown complexions, wearing dark clothing
The suspects appear to be the same suspects that attempted to steal my wife's Grand Caravan on Sunday, October 13, Β 2013 at 2:55 am and again on October 13, 2013 at Β 8:30 pm. Β My address is along White House Dr., Atlanta, GA. 30314.
Reports of the Earlier 2 incidents:
"On Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 8:30 pm, I received a call at work from my neighbor who saw a man in my wife's Grand Caravan trying to steal it again. Β The van was parked in my driveway and my wife and son were at home. (across from Washington High School). Β I was told the auto thief had a lookout person standing across the street on the sidewalk who was yelling vocal signals to 5 other men."
Descriptions: Β Black males, 18 - 25 years old
"This morning, Sunday, October 13, 2013, at 2:55 am, my wife and I were woken up by tapping at her Grand Caravan in our driveway. Β I looked out a bedroom window and saw a man sitting in the driver seat doing something to the ignition switch. Β I yelled "Get of of there!" twice. Β He got out of the van and left going toward the sidewalk. Β He left the van door open and the interior light on. Β I called 911. Β I stayed inside my home until APD arrived in about 5 minutes. Β The thief had tampered with the door lock and ignition switch. Β Later this morning, my wife found a hand size rock in her van."
