Cascade's Kroger Back to School Drive Kicks-off on Sunday, July 14th

Kroger's Atlanta Division will hold its 19th annual "Back 2 School" Campaign from July 14-Aug. 3 to benefit underprivileged children in metro Atlanta.

It is that time of year again to start thinking about what school suppliesΒ you can gather andΒ donate to less fortunate children and their families. Β

Kroger’s Atlanta Division – in partnership with the Children’s Restoration Network and WSB-TV – will hold its 19th annual β€œBack 2 School” Campaign from July 14-Aug. 3 to benefit underprivileged children in metro Atlanta.

Feel free to visit the Kroger at 590 Cascade Road, the Kroger at 3030 Headland Drive, or any Atlanta Kroger to drop your school items.
Β
Items requested for the β€œBack 2 School” drive, include: new and gently used book bags; wide and college-ruled notebook paper; spiral notebooks; three ring binders; pens and pencils; calculators; markers; scissors; file folders; rulers; crayons; glue; and dictionaries.
Kroger customers can also purchase a prepackaged school supply bag at area metro Atlanta stores to use as their donation.Β

β€œWe encourage customers from across the Atlanta area to support Children’s Restoration Network’s more than 130 shelters and 4,000-plus youth by participating in the upcoming β€˜Back 2 School’ drive,” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. β€œWith each donation, we can help provide children of all backgrounds with the tools necessary to succeed academically.”
